Educational reforms in the public sector have emerged as a priority in development and an essential element of international cooperation efforts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Though well-intended, these interventions can lead to graduates and trainees being underemployed, informally employed, or unemployed because they do not fit many developing country contexts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Balancing international priorities with the realities of developing countries requires rethinking how education systems can better support a seamless transition from training to viable employment and from upskilling to long-term economic and social stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
