How can a continuing education institution become ‘digitally ready’? This is the question addressed by the international DIGITALLI project, in which the SVEB is also involved. A pilot version of a toolkit has already been developed.
The DIGITALLI project aims to support continuing education institutions in their digital transformation by specifically adapting all areas and levels of educational institutions to the requirements of the digital society.
DIGITALLI pursues a holistic, systemic approach based on four central pillars: (1) human resources, (2) technology integration, (3) infrastructure, and (4) research and development in the field of computer science.
The project’s core activities:
- developing a practice-oriented toolkit for implementing digital transformation strategies. The toolkit already exists as a pilot version and offers guidelines, practical tools and best practices.
- creating a digital expert system. This is intended to serve as a digital tool to support decision-making and strategic planning within educational institutions.
- Designing a training programme for trainers. This will equip trainers with digital skills and innovative learning methods.
Modernisation of work processes
Through these measures, DIGITALLI aims to sustainably strengthen the performance and innovative capacity of lifelong learning and adult education institutions. By modernising their work processes and specifically promoting digital skills, the institutions will be better prepared for the challenges of an increasingly digital society. In this way, the project makes a decisive contribution to the digital transformation of national and transnational educational landscapes, whilst also promoting the development of an inclusive, future-oriented learning culture in which learning is accessible to all, effective and tailored to the needs of learners.
We are pleased to make the pilot version of the toolkit available to you here and would be delighted if you could provide us with feedback via the linked form.
