Caroline Meier Quevedo, member of the SVEB management board, has been elected to the board of the European Basic Skills Network (EBSN).
The European Basic Skills Network (EBSN) is the European association for basic skills with around 80 members from across Europe. It works at the interface between policy and practice. Its most important activity is the annual conference, which took place in Brussels in June this year.
SVEB is one of the initiators and founding members of the network, which has been in existence since 2011. It has always been represented on the EBSN board, first for seven years by Bernhard Grämiger, then by Cäcilia Märki. Caroline Meier Quevedo has now been elected to the board and will take on this important role for SVEB.
