Since 2017, SVEB has been involved as a mandate holder in a project in North Macedonia led by HELVETAS and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The Education for Employment in North Macedonia (E4E@mk) project will enter its second phase in the summer of 2022.
E4E@mk aims to bring about a better employment situation in North Macedonia in a socially inclusive and sustainable way. Currently, SVEB is supporting the project especially in the area of labour market integration for unemployed people with labour market measures.
In April 2022, SVEB held a series of webinars for a delegation of staff members from the North Macedonian employment office. The webinars were combined with a study visit to Switzerland in May 2022. The aim is for the delegation from North Macedonia to exchange information with various actors from the Swiss employment service system.
