Since 2017, SVEB has been a consultant for the E4E@MK Education for Employment project in North Macedonia. The aim of the project is to bring about a better employment situation in North Macedonia in a socially inclusive and sustainable manner. In March, SVEB was able to familiarise a delegation from North Macedonia with the vocational and adult education and training system in Switzerland.
The focus of the E4E@MK project is the integration of the private sector into vocational and adult education and training. Companies and associations are expected to ensure that vocational and adult education and training is aligned with the requirements of the labour market. The project is led by the development organisation HELVETAS and financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
During a two-day study visit, the delegation from North Macedonia exchanged ideas with representatives from professional organisations and visited companies.
