Roadmap and support: new cooperation projects of SVEB

As part of cooperation projects, Erasmus+ enables collaboration between different organisations in various countries. Thanks to the support from Movetia, Switzerland can also take part in these international projects. SVEB began two new cooperation projects on 1 December 2023.

International cooperation projects do not only enable cooperation across national borders, they also promote the exchange of knowledge between different regions. With joint objectives, concepts can be developed and programmes created. Two new SVEB cooperation projects are starting in December 2023:

Participatory programme development

When developing adult education programmes, not much attention is paid to the opinions of the participants. But the active involvement of participants is essential if we want to enhance the relevance and also the effectiveness of adult education. The ENHANCE project is examining this issue and aims to develop a roadmap. This is to set out various ways in which participants can be involved in the planning and development of programmes.

Healthy ageing

There is continuous growth in the proportion of people aged over 65 in our society. The COVID-19 pandemic also highlighted the importance of ICT skills to prevent people becoming isolated and excluded from society. The main goal of this project is therefore to improve the health of senior citizens as well as their ICT skills. By participating in this project, SVEB aims to expand knowledge about the adult education behaviour and learning requirements of older people. In addition in the project, support is being developed for trainers with this target group.

SVEB helps you with the acquisition of projects

The “Network Europe” programme enables other adult education organisations to take part in international cooperation projects. SVEB supports the institutions in the project acquisition and application processes. Please contact Saambavi Poopalapillai if you are interested or would like further information.

The 02/2023 issue of the specialist journal “Education Permanente” also deals with the topic of cooperation projects (available in german and french only).
