SVEB has published the Climate Check \u2013 a practical tool that aims to promote the climate-friendliness of continuing education institutions and support them in developing into sustainable organisations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myclimate.org\/de-ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">myclimate<\/a>, a practical instrument was created that systematically helps institutions assess their own climate-friendliness. The Climate Check is intended to motivate decision-makers to engage with the climate footprint of their institution, enable them to conduct a self-evaluation, and, based on this, initiate climate-relevant activities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tool is divided into two parts:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Guide (Part 1):<\/strong> Provides background information on promoting the climate-friendliness of continuing education institutions.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Toolbox (Part 2):<\/strong> Contains practical tasks with all the necessary tools for institutions to assess their starting point, formulate goals, and develop effective measures.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Climate Check is based on the \u201cwhole institution approach.\u201d This holistic approach examines the entire institution and evaluates six different areas of action to see how climate-friendliness can be increased.
