Together with the partner organisation Progress Ltd. and with the support of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SBFI, the SVEB has created a digital information platform for stakeholders in the field of continuing education and training in Hungary. It has been online since May 2024.
Professionalisation and quality assurance are only marginal issues in the Hungarian continuing education system. A wide-ranging dialogue on professionalism and quality is conducted only marginally among the participants in the continuing training sector and there are hardly any channels of exchange, information and concrete support. In addition, there is no comprehensive quality assurance system with universally applicable standards in the field of continuing education in Hungary.
With this in mind, the SVEB together with Progress Ltd. launched a project to promote the professionalisation and quality assurance of the Hungarian continuing education system. The aim of the project is to create a sustainable basic structure for dialogue and knowledge expansion in professionalisation and quality issues in Hungary. To this end, a digital platform has been set up, which includes learning opportunities, exchanges and information on events, and regular conferences are organised for those involved in continuing training.
A first milestone has been reached with the Go-live of the digital platform. The challenge now is to manage and promote the platform so that an active exchange on training issues can take place.
