Switzerland has two representatives in the European Basic Skills Network (EBSN)

The European Basic Skills Network (EBSN) is the European umbrella organisation for promoting basic skills among adults. SVEB is one of the 78 members. An annual conference brings together public and private stakeholders involved in the field of basic skills. The Executive Committee is also elected and confirmed at this conference.

Switzerland is represented by two people in the Executive Committee. Cäcilia Märki, head of the basic skills department at SVEB, has been an active member of the Executive Committee since 2017 and has been confirmed in office for another two years. Damian Fäh from the adult education provider Flying Teachers has been newly elected. The tasks of the new Executive Committee include further developing and realigning the network’s governance.
